EXPLORE THE COMPLETE STORY ↓Overview

The Boost Fitness Tour was a 1997 national promotional appearance tour headlined by Paula Abdul and sponsored by Boost Nutritional Drink. The campaign combined conversation about healthy, active living with Paula’s own approach to fitness through dance.
During interviews, Paula discussed exercise as something enjoyable and sustainable—particularly movement and dance rather than rigid workout routines. Her presence brought a familiar pop and choreography perspective to the brand’s message.
Fitness, Dance & the 1990s
The tour came between two of Paula’s best-known fitness videos: Get Up and Dance! (1995) and Cardio Dance (1998). Those projects invited viewers to get moving to the rhythms and choreography that had long defined Paula’s work.
The campaign also generated collectible 1990s merchandise, including a branded promotional jacket, cap and VIP backstage pass, now preserved in the photo archive below.
