January 12th- "Touched by Evil," in which Abdul makes her dramatic acting debut, airs today on ABC.
September- Billboard's September 6th issue includes a studio picture of Paula in the studios with Nile Rodgers working on her Greatest Hits Album to be released on Virgin! (Abdul was recording a remake of the Jackson 5 "Dancin' Machine" and a new still-unreleased song titled, "You've Got Me Wrong".
October 4th- As she now signs with Mercury Records, Abdul begins a 40-market workout promotional tour to promote Boost Nutritional Energy Drink.
